FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the benefits of ordering direct from the printer?

Buying direct from the printer saves you time & money. It also ensures that you get exactly what you are hoping for. The possibilities are endless! With over 85 years of experience, we can provide you with a custom look without a custom price. You are welcome to design your own or take one of our invitations & change it up however you would like to make it unique to you.

You will be able to see what it looks like before it goes on the press through our e-mail proofing process. You will be provided with as many proofs as you need until you LOVE your invitations and are ready to give your final approval.

When should I order my invitations?

It is best to order your invitations 2 to 3 months prior to the date of your wedding. This allows plenty of time during the proofing process to make sure your invitation is exactly what you have envisioned. If you are short on time, we do have a RUSH service available.

What is your turnaround?

Standard Turnaround: plan on approximately 2 weeks for processing. (It may be longer depending on how many proofs you would like to view.) Once you give approval on your proof, your invitations will be completed in 7-10 days.

RUSH Service $59: plan on approximately 1 week for processing. (It may be longer depending on how many proofs you would like to view.) Once you give approval on your proof, your invitations will be completed in 4 business days. You may pick them up in store or have them shipped to you. Shipping charges will apply if you choose to have them shipped. Please note that embossed and die-cut orders can not be rushed.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, we will need 50% down to get started on your order & the rest upon completion. We accept Visa & MasterCard.

Can I order online?

Yes, please visit the order online section of our website for specific instructions on how to order online.

When will I see my first proof?

You will receive your first proof 1 to 2 days after placing your order. If you need to make changes just let us know by midnight and a new proof will be sent to you the following business day after 4 pm.

Is there a charge for proofs?

We will do as many e-mail proofs as you need to see (1 per day) FREE OF CHARGE until you LOVE your invitations! The only time there is a charge is if you would like to see multiple proofs at one time, or if you are changing a photo.

Why are proofs sent out after 4 pm?

All changes go through a proof reader before a new proof is sent to you to make sure that all changes have been made just as you have requested them and that everything is worded according to etiquette.

I have my own file from a graphic designer, can you print it?

Of course! We are happy to print your design! We can accept almost any format. If you have questions, call 801.363.4189.

I have my own paper, can you print on it?

Absolutely! Just keep in mind that we will need extra paper for spoilage that occurs on a printing press. Please note that you will need to go with the offset printing method on provided stock. We do not do the digital printing method on provided stock.

What is the difference between offset & digital printing?

You may have noticed that we show two different prices on our website for many of our designs. This is because on some of our invitations, you have the choice of going with an offset or a digital press. The main reason for choosing offset printing is that it gives you the option of ordering raised print. Raised print is offered for an additional fee on top of offset printing and is an affordable way to add elegance to your invitation.

If you are a bride on a budget, if you are short on time, or if you are ordering an invitation with a photograph printed on it, you will want to choose the digital method of printing. If you still have questions, we can help you decide. Just ask!

Can I get the envelopes in advance?

YES, if you do not have a return address printed on your envelopes you may pick them up the day you place your order or have them shipped to you if you are ordering online.

Can I re-order invitations if I need more?

Yes, you can always order additional invitations if you run out. However, it is best to provide accurate numbers before your invitation goes on the press to save you the cost of having to put it back on the press and additional time to reprint.

Can I use photos from any professional photographer?

Absolutely, you may use photos from any professional photographer if you have been given the copyright release that allows us to reproduce them. If they are copyrighted, we will need a copy of the release to legally print your pictures.

How will my order be shipped?

When your order is completed it will be weighed in preparation for UPS shipping & you will be called with several shipping options and prices. Once you have made your choice of shipping options, the balance of your printing and all shipping expenses will be added to your credit card prior to shipment.
